Privacy Policy & Terms
Learn how TempNova handles and protects your identity, cookie logs, and temporary communication contents.
Last updated: July 23, 2026
1. Stateless Operations & Storage
TempNova is structured as a client-side privacy utilities suite. We do not inspect, cache, or log your emails on our own servers. For guests, all temporary email addresses, JWT keys, and metadata are saved only in your local browser storage (`localStorage`) and Zustand state. Clearing your cookies or cache deletes these records permanently.
2. Secure Mail Infrastructure Integration
TempNova communicates directly with public, CORS-enabled temporary mail API servers to generate inboxes and pull messages. All emails are stored on these servers securely and are subject to their automatic maintenance and purging cycles.
3. Database Synchronization (Optional)
If you choose to authenticate using our optional cloud sync feature, we will save your generated email address names, passwords, and authorization tokens in your private cloud data store. This is provided strictly as a convenience feature to let you access active temporary accounts across multiple devices. You can delete these records at any time from your dashboard.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
TempNova temporary mailboxes are intended for spam prevention, testing, and registration streamlining. Using these inboxes for illegal actions, credit card fraud, threat delivery, or system attacks is strictly prohibited. Outgoing mail capability is blocked to prevent spamming campaigns.
5. Advertising & Third-Party Cookies
TempNova uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google AdSense uses cookies (specifically the DoubleClick cookie) to serve personalized ads based on your browsing history and interests across the web.
These cookies collect non-personally identifiable information such as:
- Pages you visit and how you interact with ads
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- General geographic location (city/country level)
- Ad interaction data (clicks, impressions)
We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Both Google AdSense and Google Analytics are third-party services governed by their own privacy policies.
Your Ad Choices
You can control how Google uses your data for ad personalization:
- Cookie Consent Banner: When you first visit TempNova, you can Accept or Reject advertising cookies. Rejecting will disable personalized ads but may still show non-personalized ads.
- Google Ad Settings: Visit adssettings.google.com to opt out of personalized advertising across Google services.
- NAI Opt-Out: Visit the Network Advertising Initiative at optout.networkadvertising.org to opt out of interest-based advertising from multiple networks.
GDPR & EEA Users
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we implement Google Consent Mode v2. Your consent status (granted or denied) for ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, and analytics_storage is communicated to Google tags. No advertising cookies are set without your explicit consent.
